Jake Peters
Advisor - Information Technology & Online StrategyJake is an advisor to Blink on matters related information technology and online strategy. He previously served as Blink's Chief Information Officer & Director of Online Strategy.
Jake brings to Blink experience managing the complex intersection of technology with business strategy and operations. His work as a strategy consultant, entrepreneur, and computer scientist have exposed him to a wide array of organisations and technologies, and he has specific expertise and interest in information strategy, e-commerce, multi-channel retailing, product development/management, optimisation, technology architecture, and online marketing.
Prior to joining Blink, Jake was a founding member and Principal of the Retail and E-Commerce Strategy Consulting practice at Infosys Consulting, leading global teams in strategic initiatives and new venture development at clients such as Tesco.com, Walgreens, Limited Brands / Victoria's Secret Direct and Microsoft. Prior to that, he worked as an Analyst and Associate developing and utilising advanced optimisation techniques to help clients make better strategic use of information. He worked with companies such as DaimlerChrysler, DeutschePoste/DHL, Tyco, Kraft, P&G. He also held summer internships at IBM's Zurich Research Lab, Harvard University Network Services, and other internet-based businesses.
Jake is a graduate of the dual-degree Fisher Program in Management & Technology at the University of Pennsylvania, receiving a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of Business and a B.S.E. in Computer Science Engineering. Jake is an avid photographer and enjoys international travel. He is originally from Boston, USA and has lived and worked in 7 countries, now calling London his home.
